His entire medical practice is solely devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of vein disease, varicose and spider veins. Dr. Milne is a recognized leader in minimally invasive techniques including radiofrequency ablation procedure (VNUS Closure), endovenous laser ablation procedure (EVLT), and sclerotherapy. These techniques provide gentler, non-surgical alternatives to surgical vein stripping. These are the most cutting-edge techniques that boast a success rate of more than 98% following the first session and require no downtime.
Dr. Milne is also a strong educator and supporter of using conservative and preventative treatment in order to prevent varicose veins from reoccurring.
As a leading vein specialist, Lawrence focuses on patient comfort and satisfaction, and on providing affordable minimally-invasive vein treatments that allow patients to avoid surgical wounds and scars and to return to their regular work and leisure activities as quickly as possible.
Our vein doctor Dr. Lawrence Milne, who is our main vein specialist focused on providing affordable minimally-invasive vein treatments. As a Board Certified surgeon he can use a great variety of technique, from minimally-invasive vein treatments to a vascular surgery to treat any venous disorder or vein disease.
Dr. Milne received his M.D. degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1984. Then, he pursued and completed his intensive residency program in general surgery and extensive fellowship program in vascular surgery accompanied with additional vein treatment training. His specialty in general surgery and vascular surgery provided unique preparation and expertise to address vein disease in its entirety. This extensive training included more experience in vein treatment than typical surgical trainings elsewhere. Dr. Milne is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Phlebology.
Lawrence and his wife Debbie have four grown children and two grandkids. He is also very active in his church and is very dedicated to his community. Dr. Milne has been actively involved in the medical missionary trips to Guatemala for the past two decades where each year he travels to the rural underserved mountain areas and performs surgery and vein treatment for the poor and sick free of charge.
Dr. Milne’s Philosophy: “I treat my Patients with the same degree of competency, devotion and honesty as I would expect if I were a patient myself. When communicating and treating my Patients, I always see in a person not only a patient who needs my help, but also a human being (a father, a mother, or a child), and I do my best to help the patient as if he or she were my own family member.“
